Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California
Disneyland is the "Happiest Place on Earth." It is the first park built by Walt Disney and opened in 1955 in Anaheim, California. Disneyland and California Adventure are the two parks of the Disneyland Resort. Disneyland has eight different lands, each with their own unique attractions, dining, and shopping. The lands are Main Street U.S.A., Adventureland, Frontierland, New Orleans Square, Critter Country, Mickey's Toontown, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland.

California Adventure tells the stories of Disney and Pixar animated characters with themed shows and attractions. It is the second park to be built at the Disneyland Resort and opened in 2001 in Anaheim, California. California Adventure is within easy walking distance to Disneyland. It has eight lands with unique attractions, dining, and shopping. The lands are Buena Vista Street, Hollywood Land, "a bug's land", Cars Land, Pacific Wharf, Paradise Pier, Grizzly Peak, and Condor Flats.

The Magic Kingdom is "Where Dreams Come True!" The park is modeled after Disneyland in California. It is the first park of the Walt Disney World Resort and opened in 1971, near Orlando, Florida. The Magic Kingdom has six themed lands with some of the same lands as Disneyland. They are Main Street U.S.A., Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, Tomorrowland, and Fantasyland which has expanded with two new areas: Enchanted Forest and Storybook Circus.

Epcot celebrates the technology of the future with its Future World and international culture with its World Showcase. Epcot is the second park built at the Walt Disney World Resort, it opened in 1982. The Future World pavilions host many of the thrill ride attractions. The World Showcase pavilions feature the cultures of eleven countries. The countries are Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, United States, Japan, Morocco, France, United Kingdom, and Canada.

Disney's Hollywood Studios is a celebration of Disney, Pixar, and Hollywood entertainment. Disney's Hollywood Studios is the third park to open at the Walt Disney World Resort in 1989. There are six themed areas that celebrate the magic of music, television, movies, and theater from Disney, Pixar, and Hollywood. The six areas of Disney's Hollywood Studios are Hollywood Boulevard, Echo Lake, Streets of America, Pixar Place, Sunset Boulevard and Animation Courtyard.

Disney's Animal Kingdom celebrates real animals, ancient animals, and imagined animals: from lions, to dinosaurs to dragons. It is the fourth park built at the Walt Disney World Resort and opened in 1998 near Orlando, Florida. Animal Kingdom has seven themed areas based on the fascinating world of animals, and dedicated to the conservation of animals and their habitats. The areas are the Oasis, Discovery Island, Africa, Rafiki's Planet Watch, Asia, and DinoLand U.S.A.
